Privacy policy
Short version: Dobr doesn't collect anything, because it can't connect to the internet.
Effective 1 November 2026. Dobr is made by TEJ Digital, Dublin, Ireland. This policy covers the Dobr app for Android and the dobr.app website.
The app
What we collect: nothing. Dobr has no internet permission. It can't send your files, your patterns, usage statistics or anything else to us or to anyone. There's no account, no analytics and no advertising.
Your files. Photos, videos and documents you add are encrypted on your phone and stay on your phone. We can't see them, recover them or reset your pattern. Dobr opts out of Android's app backup, so your vaults aren't copied to Google Drive or to a new phone. Uninstalling Dobr or clearing its data deletes them permanently.
Purchases. If you buy Dobr Unlimited, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play under Google's privacy policy. We don't receive your name, email address or payment details. The app asks Google Play on your phone whether you have an active purchase so it can unlock unlimited items.
Permissions. Dobr uses Google Play billing for purchases. When you add photos it uses Android's photo picker, which gives Dobr access only to the items you select. When you add files it uses Android's file picker in the same way.
The website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We don't use them to identify you.
The free tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Photos you open in them aren't uploaded anywhere.
Children
Dobr isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data from the app, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you contact us by email, we'll use your email only to reply, and delete it on request. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
